It's been a very accomplishing week at work. I've been restoring a beautiful old charms text. My supervisor thinks it's from the founder's time, but we're not certain just yet. The text is just amazing, hand written. Illuminated text, it's just such a shame it's gone out of fashion. I don't think we have the eye from beauty in these modern ages. Such a shame. I would be kill to own a hand written book. The jewel of my collection surely.
I played a very refined game with my supervisor and his wife. Tennis, it was a lot fun. It's good to make good connections, and form responsible relations with one's supervisor. Not personal ones, how utterly vulgar. I would never shag at work, I find that to be tasteless. But as I was saying, I recruited my brother Bryce, he's quite refined to be my partner in the tennis match. Then we had a lovely barbecue at my supervisor's house in Sussex. He had a lot of land, very good. It's desirable to want a good garden. As soon as I have enough saved up, I'm selling my flat in Hammersmith and Fulham, and finding a nice starter home with a garden.
I just purchased an antique tea set, and it's so lovely. Real porcelain, hand painted roses. I don't think I'll be serving much tea out of it, maybe just a bit of admiring. How lovely.
